I actually went ahead and created the channel. It’s weird, you know? It’s just a few clicks, but man, it felt like such a big step. There it was, my very own little corner of YouTube. Empty, sure, but full of potential. I sat there staring at the screen for a good five minutes, just grinning like an idiot.
Choosing a name wasn’t an easy task. I must’ve gone through about a hundred different ideas. Some were so bad they were funny, others sounded great until I said them out loud. I’m not gonna reveal the name just yet (gotta keep some mystery, you know?), but I think I nailed it. It’s catchy, relevant, and doesn’t make me cringe when I say it out loud. That’s a win in my book!
Next up was the logo. Now, I have zero experience in designing, so I was kinda dreading this part. With the help of chatGPT, I managed to distill an idea and generate a sketch. Then I went to Canva and spent way too long playing around with different designs, but I ended up with something that looks pretty darn good if I do say so myself. It’s simple, eye-catching, and actually represents what my channel’s all about. Who knew I had it in me ? 🙂
So here I am, with a shiny new channel, a name that doesn’t suck, and a logo that looks like it was made by someone who knows what they’re doing. I’m feeling pretty good about this whole YouTube thing!
But now comes the scary part – actually making a video. I’ve got all these ideas bouncing around in my head, but picking just one for my first video? That’s tough. I want it to be perfect, you know? Something that’ll make people want to stick around and see what else I’ve got up my sleeve.
So that’s where I’m at right now. Channel? Check. Name? Check. Logo? Check. First video idea? .Next step… I can feel the momentum building, and it’s awesome. I’m nervous as heck, but in a good way, you know?
Alright, I’m off to stare at my empty channel some more and psych myself up to hit that record button. Wish me luck, and stay tuned for the big reveal! Catch you on the flip side!
